The climax of this tour is the desert adventure: two nights dedicated to the Golden City, Jaisalmer. You will spend one night within the historic walls of the Jaisalmer Fort and the final night under the stars in a luxury tent at the Sam Sand Dunes, complete with a camel safari, folk performances, and dinner around a bonfire. Itinerary

Day 1 & 2: The Pink City (Jaipur) These two days remain dedicated to exploring Jaipur. Upon arrival, Day 1 includes visits to the iconic Hawa Mahal, the majestic City Palace, and the adjacent Jantar Mantar observatory, concluding with an evening stroll through the bustling Johari and Bapu Bazaars. Day 2 focuses on the grandeur of the hilltop forts, starting with the magnificent Amer Fort in the morning. In the afternoon, you can explore the canons at Jaigarh Fort, before driving up to Nahargarh Fort to witness a spectacular sunset over the illuminated city of Jaipur, followed by your second overnight stay.

Day 3: Spirituality and The Blue City (Jaipur to Jodhpur via Ajmer/Pushkar) Today involves a long but rewarding road journey. After checking out from Jaipur, your journey breaks at Ajmer to visit the sacred Ajmer Sharif Dargah. You will then proceed to the holy town of Pushkar to visit the revered Brahma Temple and the sacred Pushkar Lake. After a brief local lunch, continue your drive across the changing desert landscape, arriving in Jodhpur, the striking Blue City, by late evening. Check into your hotel for your single overnight stay, preparing for an early morning start.

Day 4: Forts, Havelis, and The Golden City (Jodhpur to Jaisalmer) Start your morning with a quick, impactful visit to Jodhpur’s imposing Mehrangarh Fort, taking in the stunning views of the blue houses that color the old city, followed by a brief stop at Jaswant Thada. You will then begin your longest drive—a scenic, five-to-six-hour journey further west into the desert towards Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer in the late afternoon, check into your hotel. Day 5: Desert Adventure and Starry Skies (Jaisalmer to Sam Sand Dunes) Your day begins with sightseeing within Jaisalmer City. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Jaisalmer Fort (Golden Fort), one of the few living forts in the world, where shops and residences still thrive inside. Afterward, visit the ornate Patwon ki Haveli, famous for its intricate architecture. By late afternoon, you will be transferred to the Sam Sand Dunes. This is the highlight of the trip: enjoy a traditional camel safari at sunset, witness a vibrant Rajasthani cultural program (folk music and dance), and savor a delicious Rajasthani dinner around a bonfire. You will spend your final night sleeping in a comfortable tent or cottage at the desert camp, experiencing the silent majesty of the Thar under a blanket of stars.

Day 6: Desert Sunrise and Departure Wake up early to witness a magical desert sunrise over the dunes. After a leisurely breakfast at the camp, check out. You will be transferred to the Jaisalmer Airport (JSA) for flights to major Indian cities, or you may drive back to Jodhpur or Jaipur for your onward journey, concluding your unforgettable Great Desert Circuit Tour of Rajasthan.
